For decades, Fox News has pushed misinformation to vilify Democrats and mislead voters into supporting policies that primarily benefit the wealthy. Through relentless repetition of falsehoods—especially those promoted by Donald Trump—it helped manufacture the MAGA movement. Like a cancer, that same misinformation now spreads across social media, amplified by devoted followers who repeat it as propaganda.

When Democrats regain control of both chambers of Congress, they should launch a full congressional investigation into this coordinated campaign of disinformation and its impact on our democracy.
